Think your carpet is clean? Think again

Think your carpet is clean? Think again.

Carpets can house mold, bacteria, dirt and other harmful particles, causing an array of health issues, so it is important to have it cleaned regularly.

Dirty carpets are the perfect breeding ground for molds, dust mites and bacteria. Carpets act like a filtration system: airborne particles settle into the carpet, the fibers hold onto them and individuals inhale these particles. If not cleaned properly and regularly, a dirty carpet can lead to inflammation, rashes, irritation in the eyes and nose, and respiratory issues such as asthma.

When carpets remain dirty, you are exposed to harmful microbes called Mycotoxins. Most Mycotoxins usually end up embedded into carpets and exposure can weaken the immune system, cause stomach infections and respiratory diseases.
